Il Cantuccio is one of our favourite choices for a proper long lunch by the sea. It has been here since 1980, but it feels more like a traditional restaurant than a fashionable beach club. The cooking is focused on the flavours of the peninsula—seafood, local pasta and simple ingredients treated properly—and the location directly beside the water is difficult to beat. It's particularly convenient if you are visiting Nerano by boat because the restaurant has its own pier
It is directly on Marina del Cantone beach in Nerano. By road, follow signs through Sant'Agata and Nerano to Marina del Cantone. The final road is winding, so allow extra time.
