Da Filippo is one of the places we recommend most often to families. It isn't about elegant fine dining; it is about good traditional food, generous portions and a genuinely easy atmosphere. Children have space to move around, there is a playground, and parents can actually enjoy dinner without worrying quite so much about keeping everyone seated. The restaurant grew from an old family bocce court and still has that convivial, local feel.
Via Cesarano 5, above the centre of Sorrento. If you don't have a car, arranging the restaurant shuttle is much easier than walking uphill.
