Belvedere is one of those restaurants where the setting is inseparable from the experience. Sitting on the Tramontano's terrace looking across the Gulf towards Vesuvius feels unmistakably Sorrento. The cooking is much more refined than a standard hotel restaurant: the kitchen operates under the gastronomic direction associated with Alfonso Iaccarino of Don Alfonso 1890, with chef Pasquale Di Meglio. We particularly like it for an elegant lunch or romantic dinner where the view matters just as much as the food.
Inside the Imperial Hotel Tramontano, Via Vittorio Veneto 1, close to Villa Comunale and only a few minutes' walk through the historic centre from Piazza Tasso.
